Brandi Brechbiel
Vinyasa
Hailing from Portland, OR, Brandi moved to New York in 2004, began practicing yoga in 2009, and became a certified teacher in 2016.
She loves teaching dynamic flows that build on themselves, creating space for a moving meditation along with opportunities for each individual to find moments of play and discovery throughout. Her classes are breath focused, often incorporating pranayama breathing techniques.
Besides vinyasa flow she is trained in the practice of restorative yoga (the practice of stillness), which she believes to be a great asset in today’s fast paced world. Her classes often end with a restorative savasana offering.
She was drawn to teach yoga as a way of nurturing others in the incredible way that she has felt nurtured, held, and supported throughout her practice over many years and many studios in NYC. In class she hopes to utilize the tools of yoga to facilitate an environment for student’s physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual alignment.
Brandi is a 500 RYT. Having completed a 200 hr YTT with Three Sisters Yoga and a 300 hr YTT with Yoga Works in NYC.
She also completed a 200 hr Meditation Teacher Training with Hector Marcel at The Three Jewels, and a 45 hr Restorative YTT with Jillian Pransky.
