VINYASA FLOW

The love for Yoga started around 18 years ago and the love for teaching  4 years ago. I teach to give back, I teach to build community and to share the self improvement tools that I keep learning through yoga philosophy.

I have practiced many different styles of yoga, from a free and playful vinyasa flow to traditional Ashtanga practice and learned that Yoga Asana  has nothing to do with performing or achieving a perfect pose but with the consciousness of moving from one asana to the other with intention. The act of being present, mindful movements, to experience active meditation without performing and without attachment to the outcome.

My class will always start with dharma, pranayama, time to reflect to set of an intention or Sankalpa, the chanting of Ohm.I like to create playful vinyasa sequences that focus on mobility and alignment. You will be empowered and challenged by a unique flow aimed at enhancing balance, hip and spine flexibility.

The intention is to cultivate a more agile, dynamic practice, fostering overall strength, creating heat with a playful approach while taking care of your joints and ligaments with the proper alignment. Will always end in Savana to receive all the benefits and the healing energy created in the practice.

“The mat is my safe place, where I can let go of the noise in my mind and hear the sound of my heart. It is my hope that in my class you will always find something that stays with you beyond the mat.”

I hold a 200 HR YTT with the Bhakti center NYC,   30 HR with Katonah NYC, 50 HR with Sri DharmaMitra NYC.

I’m bilingual, born and raised in Venezuela, living in NYC since 2001.
